Birmingham Midshires’ roots date back to 1849 and is the result of the amalgamation of some 50 building socieities including the Midshires and Birmingham & Bridgwater Building Societies. Since January 2009 BM has been a part of Lloyds Banking Group and continue to be a key provider of leading savings products to UK consumers.

As one of the largest employers in Wolverhampton, Birmingham Midshires and Wolverhampton Wanderers have a long-running relationship. Currently Birmingham Midshires are the official sponsors of the club’s charity, Wolves Community Trust, sponsors of the Stan Cullis Stand and also the provider of the Wolves Gold savings account.

Birmingham Midshires have been the community sponsor of Wolves since January 2008, and donate match tickets to charities and local organisations across the region. As community sponsors, we also support projects initiated by the Wolves Community Trust.
